A Chilly Church

A Chilly Church

This structure may appear to be something from a sci fi film, but it's actually a church in Bavaria that was constructed entirely from snow and ice. Composed of nearly 50,000 feet of cubic snow, it was created to celebrate the anniversary of a 1911 event where villagers protested their lack of a church by building one made of snow. More on the story at ABC News.
