'Alien' Sewer Creature is Worm Colony

An unknown lifeform was recently filmed clinging to the crevices of a North Carolina sewer. The pulsating blob shied away from the light as a snakecam passed through the pipes, prompting speculation that an 'alien' creature had been found. Ed Buchan, environmental coordinator at the Raleigh Public Utilities Department, has confirmed the slimy sacs are actually a colony of worms. More at Ananova.
