Almost a Cat's Snack

Almost a Cat's Snack

A lioness at the Oregon Zoo in Portland thought she'd found an easy meal, in the form of a two-year-old toddler, but was thwarted by a glass wall which kept the child out of harm's way. Captured in a home video that has become an Internet sensation, the massive cat violently paws at the glass and attempts to snatch the child with its mouth, all while the nearby parents laugh at the creature's futility and the toddler remains nonplussed by the scene. More on the story, including the remarkable video, can be found at Orange.
