Apophis Flyby

Apophis Flyby

On Wednesday night, the asteroid Apophis (pictured in an artist's rendering) is flying past Earth, and you can view its passage online at the Slooh space camera's website. The asteroid was named after Apophis, an Egyptian demon of destruction and darkness.
