Cicada Invasion Begins

Cicada Invasion Begins

The cicada invasion on the East Coast of the US has begun, with the majority of sightings appearing in Virginia, and some southern states so far. The infestation, which occurs every 17 years, has been dubbed "Brood II," and billions more of the insects are expected to emerge from the ground as the soil temperature warms up.
