Mysterious ice worms that live in glaciers have recently been studied at the University of Puget Sound. The inch-long earthworms that thrive in the most frigid conditions have also caught NASA's attention. Such hardy creatures might be indicative of the type of lifeforms that could exist on one of Jupiter's icy moons or elsewhere. For more, see the Seattle Times(1) and a report from KOMO TV(2).
