'Condo Fog' in Florida

'Condo Fog' in Florida

While, at first glance, this may look like a tsunami wave crashing onto the shores of Panama City, Florida, it is actually a fog bank forming around the city's beachfront condominiums. Caused by warm air being forced to climb higher around the buildings and, thus, cooling off, the 'condo fog' is a fairly rare occurrence in the area. This serendipitous image, which has become a viral sensation, was captured in early moments of the fog's formation. More on the story at Katu.com.
