Daredevil Balloon Stunt

A South African adventurer successfully flew across the Atlantic Ocean, from Robben Island to Cape Town, using only giant helium-filled balloons. Matt Silver-Vallance, 37, undertook the dangerous 3.7 mile crossing over shark-infested waters to raise money for the Nelson Mandela children's hospital. Silver-Vallance inflated a total of 160 balloons for the stunt but popped 35 of them with a makeshift spear in order to control his altitude. More at The Telegraph.
