(2)Nik Wallenda pedaled his way to a new world record Wednesday by riding a bicycle across a 235-foot wire suspended from two cranes some 135 feet above the streets of Newark. Onlookers were stunned when the daredevil's bike started to slide backward on the upward slope of the cable a few yards shy of his goal. After finishing Wallenda revealed he would attempt to walk across the Grand Canyon next spring. More details at MSNBC(1) including the TODAY Show video.
