Finland Postal Service to Digitize Letters

In an effort to cut costs and carbon emissions, Finland's postal service will begin opening mail and sending scanned copies to selected recipients. Volunteers will be notified by email or text message, and receive their mail as PDF files in a secure digital mailbox. Critics have compared the trial program to the tactics employed by former Soviet spy agency, the KGB, who routinely monitored people's private mail. More at FOXNews.com.
