Giant Elephant Roams London

A giant mechanical elephant paraded down London's streets Friday as part of a four-day theater festival. The Sultan's Elephant stands nearly 40 feet tall, weighs more than 46 tons, and consists of hundreds of moving parts. The massive hydraulically-operated creature was made by French arts company Royal de Luxe to tell the story of a sultan and his magical time-traveling elephant (pictured with 16-ft tall mechanized girl).
