Gray's Evidential Images

Jonathan Gray sent us a series of images to accompany his presentation. For Image 1 (click on to view larger), the captions are as follows: Upper left-- Portion of a human skull from Carboniferous strata, Lower left-- Iron pot extracted from Carboniferous strata, Upper right-- Metallic vase from pre-Cambrian strata, Lower right-- Bubbles (halos) of primordial polonium (with a half-life of 3 minutes) "frozen" into granite rock, like Alka-Seltzer preserved in suddenly-frozen water.

Image 2, Upper left-- North fork of Toutle River, south-west of Spirit Lake, Mt. St. Helens, strata all formed in only one day, Lower left-- One single tree trunk penetrates 14 coal layers. Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, Right-- Artist’s sketch of ancient cave etching near Lussac-les-Chateaux in France, showing profile of a young lady who appears to be wearing modern-type clothing, including a hat, and carrying a purse (Magdalenian period of the Upper Paleolithic age).
