Ice Boulders on Lake Michigan Shore

Ice Boulders on Lake Michigan Shore

Massive ice boulders, estimated to weigh up to 75 pounds each, have washed ashore in northern Michigan. Hundreds of the stunning ice formations were found along a 100-foot stretch of coast at the Sleeping Bear Dunes national park. "I thought it was the coolest thing ever especially since I've never seen anything like it," said local resident Leda Olmstead. Experts believe the giant ice balls broke off of ice floating in Lake Michigan and were rounded by the wind and waves. More photos and video at Mail Online.
