'Igloo City' is a Ghost Town

This once-magnificent structure, known as the Igloo City Hotel, was the brainchild of a developer who hoped to draw tourists in Alaska to the unique destination. However construction of the project ceased in the 1970's, before it could be completed, and the now-abandoned building is only visited by curious onlookers who stop to gaze at the decaying creation. More on the story, including numerous more pictures of the Igloo Hotel, can be found at Kuriositas.
