This once-magnificent structure, known as the Igloo City Hotel, was the brainchild of a developer who hoped to draw tourists in Alaska to the unique destination. However construction of the project ceased in the 1970's, before it could be completed, and the now-abandoned building is only visited by curious onlookers who stop to gaze at the decaying creation.
