Lake Erie 'Icehouse'

Thanks to a potent combination of high winds and frigid temperatures, this Lake Erie lighthouse has become a veritable ice sculpture. While the beauty of the 'icehouse' has made it a media sensation, the thick coat of ice covering the lighthouse has rendered its true purpose moot, as ships on the lake are having a difficult time picking up its signal.
