Methane Found on Mars
Richard C. Hoagland was joined by author Robert Zubrin(1) in the second hour to comment on the announcement(2) that methane had been detected on Mars. This finding indicates there is either life or hydrothermal activity on Mars, with potential geothermal power available there to terraform the planet, said Zubrin. Hoagland noted the methane arrives seasonably, and there could be organisms on Mars feeding off of it.
