Most Bizarre Experiments

Some of the most bizarre scientific experiments ever conducted were recently counted down in New Scientist. Among them-- an elephant was given a huge dose of LSD, a dog had a second head grafted on, and animal corpses were positioned on a seesaw in order to restart their circulation.
