NASA's Prototype Lander Crashes

NASA's Morpheus experimental lander, dubbed 'the beetle', crashed and burst into flames moments after takeoff at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The insect-like vehicle was being tested for missions to the moon and other destinations beyond our planet. An investigation is under way but it is though the failure was due to a hardware fault.
