NASA's Red Clouds

A rocket launched this evening from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility on Wallops Island, Va. released a vapor that created glowing red clouds above the Earth. Visible in the Mid-Atlantic region, the launch was part of a test of data gathering tools. More, including photos at NASA and Space.com.
