'Plastiki' Completes Voyage

Plastiki, a 60 ft. ship kept afloat by 12,000 plastic bottles, arrived in Sydney Harbor on Monday, completing an 8,000 mile journey from San Francisco. The boat, which set sail to raise awareness about the problem of plastic trash in the ocean, has a sustainable design that includes solar panels, and a hydroponic garden.
