Robotic Suitcase

Based on an idea by Claude E. Shannon, 'The Most Beautiful Machine' uses a compressor, pneumatic cylinder, prosthesis, and an old trunk to show "communication based on the functions of ON and OFF." Basically, the observer pushes a red button and an artificial hand reaches out to turn off the machine. Click here to watch the machine in action.
