Russian Satellite Lights Up Sky

A Soyuz rocket carrying a military communications satellite into orbit produced a stunning display of blue light as it blazed over the Russian city of Ekaterinburg. Some observers likened the spectacular light show to the Aurora Borealis. Others witnesses, unaware of the launch, believed they were seeing an alien craft in the sky.
