Skydiver Seeks to Break Sound Barrier
Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner will try to smash the record for highest parachute jump set 50 years ago by Joe Kittinger. Baumgartner plans to take a pressurized capsule attached to a 450ft-high helium balloon up to at an altitude of 120,000ft, where he'll jump out and likely become the first person to go supersonic in freefall.
