Space Crash

In an unprecedented incident, two satellites hit each other on Tuesday. A defunct Russian Cosmos satellite and an Iridium communication satellite collided some 490 miles above northern Siberia. So far, more than 500 pieces of space debris have been detected from the collision. View animation(1)/more info(2).
