Chinese hairdresser Huang Xin has built a detailed replica of the Tian'anmen Gate Tower in Tian'anmen Square out of human hair gathered from shop clippings. The model is 2 feet 10 inches long and made from over 24 pounds of women's hair (because it's softer). More at Ananova.
