Water Turns Blood Red

The water at beaches around Sydney, Australia turned blood red today. The dramatic color change was due to a rare bloom of red algae. The photo shows a swimmer stopping short of the algae bloom at Clovelly Beach. Further photos and info at the Daily Mail.
