Buzz on Zero

Tonight's guest Ed Dames was hired as a technical consultant for the feature film Suspect Zero and also plays the role of a remote viewing instructor in it. Now there's what you'd call type casting! The movie stars Aaron Eckhart as a Dallas-based FBI agent investigating the case of a former agent (Ben Kingsley) who may be killing serial killers. The story line is said to involve a covert government program called "Icarus" which churns out ace remote viewers. Originally scheduled to be released in October of this year, its current release date is listed as 2004 TBA. One can imagine that pinning down the mercurial logic behind studio release dates, would baffle even the best of remote viewers. The amount of information on a film that hasn't been released yet is also mind boggling. There are Internet sites that review purported scripts in various stages, pages that post production stills, and even a website that documents how their office was turned into Katie's (Carrie Ann

Friday Night Feature: The Summer Planets

by Anthony McGettigan The Summer Solstice has arrived. The Summer Solstice Sun is aligned withSaturn and nearly exactly opposite to the Galactic Center. The effect ofthe solstice-related events are already upon us and will hit a highpoint between June 21 to 24. This will be an unusual and importantsolstice--however, this is only the first of 3 very significantcelestial events that will happen thissummer.First of all, the Summer Solstice Sun will closely align with Saturn. This alignment is rare because Saturn takes nearly 30 years to orbit theSun, and it is much less frequent that the Sun, Earth, and Saturn allalign with a solstice point. This event is all the more significant dueto an exact alignment with Uranus on June 24th. For more details, pleasevisit this page. Also in August there will be a very close alignment of 6 planets withthe fixed star, Regulus (also known as Cor Lionis, or the Heart of theLion). Some have said this event marks a profo

Spotlight on: Brookhaven

Tonight's guest, Wade Gordon, has written about his involvement in a secretive project at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Brookhaven, which is located on Long Island, was built in 1947 to house a nuclear reactor. Over the years the lab expanded its facilities and research machines and now employs over 3,000 people. Some of their unclassified experiments such as a recent atom smashing that produced conditions similar to the Big Bang, are almost as fascinating as the black project contentions.

Friday the 13th Feature: Cemetery Strangeness

By Pete C. On Friday, October 13th 2000 (a full moon night) I was out with a film crewthat was doing a documentary on Bachelors Grove cemetery near Chicago,Illinois. They invited me along because I run the main web site for thiscemetery, so I agreed to go with them. That night I filmed a strange lightwhich can be viewed at the link below. Towards sunrise, while we werepacking up to leave, I as well as another associate both saw some sort ofblack object about 5 feet in diameter dart across a portion of the cemetery. We were both in the middle of a discussion at the time so when it passed usby we both went silent; then stared at each other while almost at the sametime said "did you see that?" Unfortunately we had all of our cameras packedup at that moment so nothing was ready to capture it. But at least the videocamera was able to capture something of a paranormal nature earlier thatnight.Clickhere to view. (Note: The Ghost Research section of bachelor

Spotlight on: Biochips

Tonight's guest Roger Tolces has assisted victims of electronic harassment which can take place when someone uses an electronic device to invade a person's privacy or property. Biochip implants, which are just beginning to come on the market, have been talked about as a device that could be potentially harmful in that regard. The ingenious chips, about the size of a rice grain, can be embedded under a person's skin by a doctor using a large needle. They contain transmitters which can relay a bounty of information about a person such as their personal identification and medical records. While there are obvious benefits to the technology, such as accessing vital health information during an emergency or locating a lost or kidnapped person, many are sounding the alarm over the likely loss of privacy. All movements and transactions could be accessed by authorities. Big Brother "knows where you are ALL the time. Privacy- the very concept of privacy—becomes an anachronism," writes col

Selling the Subconscious

Tonight's guest Jon Kelly has explored the terrain of unconscious messages through his work with human speech. Many believe our conscious awareness is the tip of the iceberg to a deeper well. Freud posited an individual's subconscious as a zone for suppressed memories and desires, while Jung added the additional layer of the Collective Unconscious, a kind of universal mind of shared archetypes. It was Freud's nephew Edward Bernays, who took his Uncle's ideas and applied them to America's rapidly expanding marketplace in the early 20th Century. A propagandist for America in WWI, later Bernays coined a new term for his work— public relations. He was one of the first to take advantage of the subconscious as a selling tool. "You no longer had to offer people what they needed; by linking your brand with their deeper hopes and fears, you could persuade them to buy what they dreamt of," Tim Adams wrote in an article about Bernays. Another way the subconscious was mined for commer

Interdimensional Mind

Back in 2001, I profiled James Gilliland for an article in After Dark, and we spoke about some of the unusual sightings at his ranch. "When you move into what I call interdimensional mind, you expand beyond your personality and beyond your body. You actually create a doorway for these events to happen or you attract them to you," Gilliland said. Residents of his Institute had been experiencing apparition-like sightings for a number of years, which they associated with their contacts with ascended masters (enlightened spirit guides) such as Babaji whose torso was witnessed as a manifestation over a pond. Gilliland believes their interactions with the masters opened the gateway for contacts from such evolved ET races as the Pleiadians. "You can't really separate the UFO phenomenon from spiritual phenomenon because they go hand in hand," he said. "The greys and the black budget stuff are just a small piece of the puzzle. There are so many planes and dimensions beyond that where advanced

Friday Night Feature: A 1963 Sighting

-- By Ron Hamm When I was 7 years old, I was in the second grade. One day in early May, I had been selected at random to stay after school and clean the blackboards and erasers. I assure you this was not punishment, contrary to what my Mother may say. As a result of cleaning I walked home alone. It wasn’t a long walk, about 4 blocks; it usually took about 5 minutes to walk home. However, on this day I walked a little more slowly, enjoying the beautiful May day. Picture a kid picking up a stick and running it along a picket fence, picking up rocks, and looking at the bugs. Lollygagging as it were, well that was what I was doing that day. It was a picture perfect day, the sun was out, not a cloud in the sky. I was walking along not really thinking about anything, when all at once the sun was being blocked by something in the sky. I turned my face to the sun and watched in horrified fascination as a huge silver spaceship completely blotted the sun from my view. As my eye

Changing Tides

Dr. Robert Ghost Wolf explores the lore of Nibiru and the Reptilians in an excerpt from his book Changing the Tides of Fear. Among his revelations: Nibiru or Planet X is actually an artificial structure, used as a base by an Orion race of beings. In our universe, there are over ten billion worlds that support life. Reptilian beings cannot manifest into our reality structure, but they can enter as "hitchhikers" through human hosts. Our reality membrane was damaged by time travel and interdimensional experiments, and now other consciousnesses previously unable to enter, can get in. There was a pre-ice age civilization of enormous intelligence. It is inevitable that we will once again encounter the beings of Nibiru. Man's inhumanity to his own kind, is far worse than anything star beings would do to us. --L.L.

Spies and Portals

One of the areas that tonight's guest, Gordon Thomas touches on in his book Seeds of Fire, was the arrest and subsequent release of Dr. Wen Ho Lee. A Chinese scientist working at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Lee was accused of spying for China, and passing crucial data to them about the US's nuclear warhead designs. When charges against Lee were dropped, Thomas writes that there were rumors it was because the US government didn't want him spilling the beans about a super secret project he was involved in. "Lee, ran the whispers, worked on what was known as Project HP—Holographic Portal," Thomas writes. Thomas reported that according to Dr. Richard Boylan, a scientist with NSA contacts, Lee was working with a kind of ET device that could allow for travel through the space-time continuum. In an Internet published article, Boylan writes that Lee may have created a "Get Out of Jail Free" card for himself, by using a "self-protective proviso" that if anything should happen him

Paradoxes in Futurology

Tonight's guest, Watts Wacker co-authored the Visionary's Handbook, which examines some of the paradoxes involved in preparing for the future, both in a business context and in one's life. "The smallest guy has got to think big and the biggest guy has to think small," Wacker said in an interview with Government Technology. Wacker stresses the importance of having a vision, because if you don't, you're liable to get swept up in someone else's. One thing he's learned about visioning is the "difference between bacon and eggs. The hen is involved but the pig is committed. In the end, your vision is only as good as your commitment to the execution of it," Wacker said. "Life has never been easier, and because it has never been easier, life has never been more hard," Wacker writes in his book. He also talks about learning to live with the future but expressed in the present tense, because the way a person conceives of the future will determine how that future will play out. The
