Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the United States Air Force investigated thousands of UFO reports, under a program called Project Blue Book. Their conclusion: no evidence exists for extraterrestrial vehicles. Author Robert Goldberg believes the main purpose of Blue Book was public relations and disinformation. In an interview with ABC News, he described their mission to "denounce the UFOs, dismiss the UFOs, debunk the UFOs and anybody who believes in them -- just come up with answers and get this UFO thing out of the newspapers." In the first hour, reporter and editor for Earthfiles.com, Linda Moulton Howe, presented an update on the latest Mars findings, which could help answer the question about life on the red planet once and for all. Linda said discoveries made by Mars rover Spirit in the "Columbia Hills" seem to indicate that Martian rocks have been exposed to a lot of water. According to Larry Crumpler, Ph.D., Planetary Scientist and member of NASA Mars Spirit Rover team, "early Mars was really wet and suddenly that climate just changed very early in the history and things have been a lot drier since." Crumpler theorized that the ancient waters could have soaked into the ground, remained in a liquid state by the warmth inside Mars, and developed micro-organisms deep underground. Researchers at Cornell, MIT and Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands have developed a new breed of energy efficient robots that walk like humans. The Cornell robot (pictured above) uses energy only to push off, then gravity brings each foot down. Based on "passive-dynamic" technology, the robot can walk on level ground using as little as one-half the wattage of a standard, compact fluorescent light bulb. The moving rocks of Death Valley have puzzled researchers for decades. The rocks, some weighing as much as 700 pounds, leave mysterious trails hundreds of yards long in the dry desert lake bed. Paula Messina, assistant professor of geology at San Jose State University in California, believes that extremely strong winds push these rocks across the surface of the playa after it has been made slick with rain. Saturn's diminutive moon, Mimas, looks eerily similar to the deadly battle station from Star Wars in an image taken by the Cassini probe. The giant crater which gives the moon its characteristic look is more than 85 miles across. Scientists think if the asteroid that struck Mimas and formed the crater had been any larger, the moon would have broken in two. Read more at NewScientist.com Image: NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute
When J.Z. Knight goes into a deep trance state, she claims the powerful presence of Ramtha, the Enlightened One, comes through her to speak and interact with an audience. Here is a sampling of quotes culled from Ramtha's numerous books: --I am saying to you, find that which is termed your own relationship with God, and in your own relationship with God you define that individually. Once that is defined, you will be the true and relevant student of this Great Work. --Rediscovering the Pearl of Ancient WisdomNow the birthing of the soul can be as dramatic as the birthing of the body. The birthing of the soul has to break through the thick membrane of genetic heritage. It has to break through the thick neuronet programming that everyone calls attitude. --Making Contact: Our Soul's Journey and Purpose Through LifeAnd the greatest crowning achievement of our life is to know this mystical medicine, and it begins with to love yourself. My name is Steven Soeten. I do automatic writing and drawing using the name Aster. I am 46 years old, live and work in the Netherlands and have been devotedly doing automatic writing and drawing since 1983. I am convinced that automatic writing was latently present before this time. From 1994 until 2002 I have been working fulltime committing myself to the "ideomotor" experiencing and researching of automatic writing. My quest started in 1983 with messages of my brother Bobby, who was killed in Israel in 1983. Bobby would write through me, but his messages were often unclear. In 1985 a spirit entity who called herself "Margaretha" channeled through me, with a series of short messages that have kept me busy with automatic writing and drawing work and research until this day. Finally, in the year 1999, I drew her picture (center image) or perhaps I should say she drew her picture through me. Margaretha's message is as important as it is cryptic. It took me 20 years to learn
HAARP researchers created a neon light show by shooting intense radio beams into the night sky. The images (click for enlargement) from the HAARP Observatory show artificial "green speckle" emissions superimposed over the natural background aurora only during frames when the transmitter was on. Scientists speculate a similar technique could one day be used to light a city. The experiment was conducted March 10, 2004 and the results released Feb. 2, 2005 in the journal Nature. According to a Space.com article, "There has been no event like this in modern history." Start making travel plans now, the 1000-ft wide rock will only be visible from Europe, Africa and western Asia.
