The Cross Mission

First hour guest, Arthur Blessitt spoke about his decades-long mission in which he carried a 12 foot wooden cross around the world, walking some 38,000 miles, through all seven continents. He described his trek through countries in the midst of war, such as Lebanon in 1982, and difficult terrain like a jungle near Panama, and glaciers outside of Afghanistan. A Chinese farmer was reportedly shocked to discover a newborn piglet with two mouths and three eyes. The abnormality may have been caused by genetic mutation or feed pollution, according to a local vet. From Ananova.

'Haunting' Movie Site

Check out the official website for the new film The Haunting in Connecticut, which is based on events Carmen Reed and her family experienced while living in a former funeral home. The site features trailers, 'haunted e-cards,' and a special blog called Questions for the Dead.

Google 'UFO' Photo

A photograph from Google's street view service could be showing a fleet of UFOs over East London. Ufologist Nick Pope told The Sun that the image was "truly fascinating." More here.

Check out this 6-part PBS-TV documentary, Meltdown At Three Mile Island, which chronicles the terrifying near-catastrophe that occurred at the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant on March 28, 1979.

Ghost Photo Baffles Experts

A photo of an eerie figure peering from the window of a ruined fortress has experts puzzled. The shot, captured last year at Tantallon Castle in Scotland, appears to show a rather stern-looking person wearing fifteenth century dress. Ghost skeptic Richard Wiseman is baffled, as the castle is "not the sort of place that has dummies or costumed guides," and the photographer claims no one was present when the picture was taken. Rare Asteroid Rocks

Recovered pieces of an asteroid spotted over the Sudan desert back in October may tell us something about the solar system's early history. The recovery of the rocks, which belong to a rare class of asteroid, mark the first time scientists were able to track an asteroid from space to the ground. More at Wired Science.

UFO Update

In the last hour, filmmaker and UFO researcher James Fox discussed his forthcoming documentary, I Know What I Saw. He also spoke about footage of a boomerang-shaped object shot in the 1990s by an Army Colonel. The late Col. had stipulated that the footage, which is now being analyzed, could only be shown after his death.

Robot Supermodel

A female robot recently made her debut on the catwalk during Tokyo's Fashion Week. Her 42 motion motors have been programmed to mimic the moves of a live model. Click here for more info and video footage.

Hiding Lockheed

Area 51 wasn't the only installation that the government has tried to keep secret from enemy nations. During World War II, the Army cloaked the Lockheed aircraft plant in Burbank, California with an elaborate camouflage to protect it from potential Japanese air attacks. Check out this gallery showcasing a before and after look at the subterfuge.

Parrot an Internet Hit

A 'sporty' parrot named AJ has become a hit on the popular video-sharing site YouTube. In one video clip the 18-year-old Indian Ringneck Parakeet can be seen playing golf and basketball as well as performing other clever tricks. More at The Telegraph.

Moon Hoax Debate

Check out this video clip from a 2002 broadcast of MSNBC's "The Abrams Report," in which filmmaker Bart Sibrel debates astronomer Phil Plait on whether the moon landings were faked. Footage also includes the famous Buzz Aldrin punch.

Tonga Volcano

After a series of quakes near Tonga, an undersea volcano erupted, spewing a huge plume into the sky, which rose between 15,000 and 25,000 feet. Watch a video of the spectacular event.

UFOs Over London

Four "flying saucers" turned up in Derek Burdon's photograph taken on the rooftop of London's Orion House. The shapes were invisible to the naked eye but appeared in the photo.
