Paranormal investigator Kristen Sheley captured this photo that appears to show a shadowy figure standing at the end of the hallway. Some believe evil spirits haunt the halls of the Willow Hotel in Jamestown, California. The building, which has mysteriously caught fire and nearly burned to the ground numerous times, sits over the site of an abandoned mineshaft. Allison Etchison, a waitress at the hotel's restaurant, believes the ghosts of miners are trying to communicate by tapping on metal pipes in the building. According to a former guest, the 'Tommyknockers' are attempting to warn people in the hotel about a malevolent presencea devilish spirit that terrorized her in the hotel's restroom. After drawing thousands of onlookers last week, a window, believed by some to contain an image of the Virgin Mary, will soon be removed from the hospital where it was discovered. Hoping to avoid further disruptions at the building, hospital officials plan to have the window studied, provided that the image is not disturbed during the removal process. More on the story here.

A small space rock on a collision course with Earth, burned up in the atmosphere over Sudan earlier tonight. About the size of a car, there have been no reports of damage from the object.Astronomers were excited because it's the first time such an impact has been predicted with near certainty. The discovery of some of Steve Fossett's personal belongings and plane wreckage near Mammoth Lakes was announced this week. Pictured (click on image for larger) is a map with location "B" being the general area where Fossett's items were found, and the location of the plane wreckage "A" cited by Ed Dames during his July 10, 2008 C2C appearance. Based on the map legend, the locations are around 40-50 miles apart. Ed Dames appeared briefly at the start of the show, commenting that the objects found on the ground may not be relevant to the crash site. He also sent us a video clip regarding his search efforts.
The fewest number of sunspots in decades and the reduction of the solar wind has surprised scientists, who were expecting more activity during this part of the solar cycle. Swiss pilot Yves Rossy made history Friday by flying across the English Channel with a homemade rocket-powered wing attached to his back. Rossy took less than 10 minutes to complete the 22-mile crossing, and parachuted into a field not far from the white cliffs of Dover. More details and video of Rossy's flight at the Telegraph.
A video surveillance camera at a gym in Overland Park, Kansas captured a white orb moving around the room, and hovering near the dumbbells. The camera's motion sensors kicked in a total of nine separate times between 2 and 4:30 in the morning. Watch the video here.
