The Missing Link?

A 47-million-year-old fossil of a primate may be the long sought missing link between humans and apes. Nicknamed "Ida," the lemur-like creature had opposable thumbs, and fingernails instead of claws.

Apparition in Doorway

BBC journalist Chris Sandys was shocked to see an apparition in a photo he took at a haunted museum in Gloucestershire. "It was a bizarre formation of light showing a mystery figure in a doorway," he said.

Bristol UFO

A mysterious aerial object was seen gliding silently in the skies over Bristol, England last Sunday. Witness Andy Hadlington recorded footage of the UFO from the window of his office.

Complex Hubble Spacewalk a Success

Two spacewalking astronauts, John Grunsfeld and Drew Feustel, spent six and a half hours on Saturday installing a new high-tech instrument on Hubble as well as performing complex repairs to the space telescope's broken planetary camera.

'Horse Leg' Extensions

'Horse leg extensions' created by a Seattle designer are allowing people to walk around 14 inches taller. The designer, Kim Graham says the legs "give a person the uncanny and graceful appearance of an animal."

Hubble Mission Update

Astronauts aboard the shuttle Atlantis latched onto the Hubble today using a robotic arm. They are preparing for a series of spacewalks to repair and upgrade the telescope, which is pictured here as seen from the shuttle.

Giant Jellyfish

A giant 4 ft. jellyfish washed up on a British beach, on the coast of north Devon. "It was the biggest I've seen...with a large body and tentacles," said Peter Stapleton who photographed the creature.

Wired.com has posted exclusive video of the recent test flight of Virgin Galactic's White Knight Two.
