Pilot Escapes Jet Crash

Ghostly Figure Appears in Tour Photo

Staff at one of Scotland's spookiest tourist attractions, Mary King's Close, are baffled by a ghostly figure that has appeared in photos of two different tour groups. The unexpected visitor in the images resembles a woman with blond hair. A spokesperson for the attraction said the staff hopes that by publishing the photos someone might be able to help them explain the mysterious figure. More at STV News.

Bionic Legs Help Paralyzed Man Walk

Hayden Allen, who had been told he would never walk again after injuring his spinal cord in a motorcycle accident, can now stand, walk, and even go up and down steps thanks to a pair of robotic legs. Meet the Eyeborg

Canadian filmmaker Rob Spence has replaced his own false eye with a miniature, battery-powered video camera. The bionic eye, built with the help of an MIT cyborg expert, can record everything it sees in real time by transmitting wirelessly to a computer.
