Back in August of this year I picked up my brother and
his family from the Kansas City airport and then we
drove to Atchison, Kansas. As we drove around the
historic streets of Atchison, I told them about how
this is the most haunted town in Kansas, and that one
of these houses lives "Sally" a girl ghost from the
civil war era.
Back in the mid 1990's the TV show
"Sightings" did a feature story on "Sally" the
scratching ghost. She would only scratch the man of
the house. Some of the scratches on the mans arm and
chest would even bleed.
So about 40 minutes after driving around, telling my
brother and his family about this story, we were
swimming and my mother asked me what are those
scratches on my neck? I didn't think much of it until
I took a shower and looked in the mirror! I had four,
two inch long red scratches on the right hand side of
my neck! The skin was never broken, I never felt a
thing, and they lasted for three days before fading
away. I have attached a picture (below) of the scratches,
taken about 30 min. after I discovered them.
