UFO House in TN
My friend and I were on vacation in TN (April 2005) and quite unexpectedly came upon this house. It apparently has a "trap door" entrance and exit, too!

Update-- D. Young writes: "This house was built by my great-uncle Curtis King and his sons in the early 70s. I was very young and remember going inside to see it when it was first completed but don't remember a lot about it. It sits on the side of Signal Mountain, Tennessee and is known here as "The Space House". It was built for fun and then they sold it soon after it was built.
As you can imagine it was a huge tourist attraction after it was built with people lined up to see it. They (my relatives) had an open house for all the curiousity seekers. It is interesting. Curtis is now in his 80s and still lives at the bottom of Signal Mtn. not far from where the house sits. Just thought I would share a little history on the house.
