T. Lee Baumann, M.D. is the author of "God at the Speed of Light: The Melding of Science and Spirituality", "Window to God: A Physician's Spiritual Pilgrimage", and "The Akashic Light: Religion's Common Thread." His first book was considered one of the inspirations for the past CBS television series, "Joan of Arcadia." Lee has also been featured in the TV documentaries "The Evidence for Heaven" and "The Search for Heaven," both Grizzly Adams productions.

According to quantum physics, light is a type of cosmic consciousnessâ it is omnipresent, existing everywhere at one time and allows for an instantaneous transfer of information. Further, all matter will eventually decompose into light, he added. Many religions describe God in terms of light, and Baumann no longer feels this is metaphorical. He spoke about how near-death experiencers saw beams of light coming out of the Earth-- they were told these were prayers. ... More »Host: George Noory
