Alternative Health Special |
|
| Thursday August 7, 2008 |
Author and researcher Christian Wilde reported on alternative approaches to treating heart disease. In the third hour, he was joined by holistic expert Gabriel Cousens, MD, and raw food authority David Wolfe. Wilde noted that turmeric has been shown to have strong anti-inflammatory properties in the body, and the arteries in particular. A cardiac patient, Duane, appeared for a segment to tell of his miraculous recovery from severe heart damage. He participated in a trial at the Arizona Heart Institute, receiving a stem cell injection in his heart. After just a few days he began to feel better, and it was later observed that the damaged areas of his heart had been replaced by healthy cells. Cousens discussed the epidemic of diabetes in America, and reported that a "live food" diet can successfully treat the disease. Uncooked foods have a higher level of phytonutrients and stimulate anti-aging and anti-diabetes genes, while lowering blood pressure, he explained. Wolfe shared t

Genes, Cells & Belief |
|
| Monday December 19, 2005 |
Research scientist Bruce Lipton returned to discuss his paradigm shifting mind/body thesis-- that our belief system affects genetic activity.Mainstream science has long posited the dogma of "genetic determinism"-- that a person's genetic makeup controls the character of their life. But this kind of the thinking has led to a belief structure built around "victimization." People need to take control through self-knowledge, and empower themselves rather than blame their genes, he argued. In actuality, we are made up of a "community of 50 trillion cells" —which are each "sentient living beings," and these cells react to the environment they encounter. Every human is like a "skin-covered Petri dish" and their health is a reflection of how they perceive the environment, said Lipton. We have stem cells that should regenerate and repair our bodies but the chemistry that we put in from the outside interferes with that activity. Further, our belief system, indoctrinated into us fr

Health & Diet/Hurricane Katrina |
|
| Tuesday August 30, 2005 |
In the middle two hours of the show, founder of the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center, Gabriel Cousens M.D. shared his research and methodology. By consuming live (uncooked) foods a person can raise their biophoton levels and thus be more connected to the "living field" and have greater energy, he said. Cousens also noted that eating less has been scientifically shown to increase longevity. Further, he has found that supervised "green juice" fasting for a period of seven days can be helpful in turning around such conditions as diabetes and high blood pressure. Fasting for this length of time resets certain biological parameters and can activate a person's anti-aging genes, he explained.First hour guest, meteorologist Scott Stevens offered analysis of Hurricane Katrina. He believes there is evidence that suggests weather manipulation technology (that the Russians have) was used in the creation and path of the storm which was deliberately focused on destroying the refineries and oil f
