Renee Dufault

Renee Dufault

Biography:

Dr. Renee Dufault is an American research scientist. She is a former United States Public Health Service officer who retired early from the Food and Drug Administration to publish her findings of mercury in high fructose corn syrup. She is a recognized biomedical expert in the field of inorganic mercury toxicology and is known among researchers worldwide as "The Mercury Queen." She and her collaborators published the first model ever on the gene-environment interactions involved in the development of autism and ADHD.

With hundreds of citations, her articles now form the foundation for diagnosing, treating and preventing these devastating child neurodevelopmental disorders that are rapidly increasing across the world due to the contaminated food supply. Dr. Dufault's book "Unsafe at Any Meal: What the FDA Does Not Want You To Know About the Foods You Eat" has numerous positive reviews and is used as a textbook in college and continuing education courses as a primer on nutritional epigenetics. Written for laypeople, the book is easy to understand and a good choice for book groups or individuals wishing to improve their diet, family birth outcomes, or prevent disease.
