He believes Obama will be a dealmaker, shifting to the center, and picking some Republicans as members of his Cabinet. Political author Jerome Corsi joined the show in the second hour. Bailout & Financial Turmoil

Wednesday October 1, 2008

Investment adviser Catherine Austin Fitts was joined by financial commentators Bill Murphy (2nd hour) and Andy Gause (3rd hour) to discuss the current state of the economy, bailouts, and how fraud and manipulation are at the root of our financial turmoil. We've been draining value out of the real economy, and the proposed bailout will just funnel investments into propping up the bubble, said Fitts, suggesting that the plan will actually send money from Main St. to Wall St., instead of the reverse. What's going on with the bailout is more than theft, "it's a coup d’état" –-a "reengineering of government institutions," she declared.Fitts has listed 10 reasons not to bail out Wall Street in her recent blog entry. Murphy, who's done extensive research to show the price of gold has been suppressed and manipulated, commented that the free market process has been thwarted in the US. Gause metaphorically described the huge amount of debt as "radioactive and toxic." This pool of mort ... More

Mysteries of the Giza Plateau

Monday September 15, 2008

Engineer & Egyptologist Robert Bauval discussed his research into the alignment of the Giza pyramids, and his theories about the Sphinx. Studying aerial photos of the Giza Plateau he saw that the three pyramids were lined up on a diagonal, with the smallest one offset to the left. An Egyptian dynasty text referred to a King that wanted to travel to the star Sirius. Bauval later connected the stars in Orion's belt (near Sirius) to the positioning of the three pyramids. His further research showed that shafts inside the Great Pyramid's chambers were pointed at stars in Orion, coinciding with where they would have been in the sky around 10,500 BC, suggesting the structures at Giza are much older than most Egyptologists believe. Interestingly, 10,500 BC was also the date Edgar Cayce mentioned that a Hall of Records was buried inside the Sphinx. These records may reveal a message or artifact that shows civilization is far older than previously thought, and we are not what we thin ... More

Time, Time Travel, & Voodoo

Tuesday September 9, 2008

Author, storyteller, & ordained Anglican priest Lionel Fanthorpe shared mysteries of time and time travel, and also discussed the practices of Voodoo and Santeria. Time is not completely understood, but gravity may be the link that unlocks its secrets, he said. With upcoming discoveries at CERN, 2008 could become the "year zero" for time travelers in the future to return to this date, he added. He shared cases of time anomalies and strong déjà vu experiences, such as when an American, Mrs. Turner, first arrived in England with her British fiancé. They went to see their new home, an English manor, and as they arrived she knew every detail of the location in advance of seeing it. The butler declared "you are the lady that haunts this house." Fanthorpe speculated that Mrs. Turner astrally traveled overseas to the manor, before she physically went there. He also spoke about anachronistic artifacts such as modern shoes and spark plugs turning up in stone strata that are thou ... More

Meltdown: The Economy & Oil

Thursday July 3, 2008

In a special program looking at issues surrounding oil & the economy, trends analyst Gerald Celente appeared for the full show. He was joined by investment advisorCatherine Austin Fitts in the third hour, and oil expertMatt Savinar in the last hour. The dollar has lost 41% of its value during the Bush administration, and we're going to see company failures so big they won't be able to be bailed out, like Bear Stearns, said Celente. He cited the Federal Reserve, which functions as a private company with no congressional oversight, as one of the major problems. Predicting food & gas riots, as well as tax revolts, Celente suggested diversifying your savings among a number of banks, if you have more than $100,000. Catherine Austin Fitts commented that the demise of Bear Stearns may have been a hit job, "cannibalized" for the good of other finance companies. There is an effort underway to centralize the economy and shift assets away from local communities, she warned. Fitts ... More

The Space Race

Saturday January 26, 2008

Historian Michael D'Antonio discussed his new book A Ball, a Dog and a Monkey, which chronicles the rollicking start of the space race between the United States and Soviet Union. The first artificial satellite to be put into space was Sputnik 1 by the Soviet Union in October 1957. D'Antonio said people of the time claimed they could see the basketball-sized spacecraft as it orbited the planet transmitting its famous "beep-beep-beep" radio signal. Some worried the satellite was being used for spying, he added.Sputnik 2 was the second spacecraft launched into space and the first to carry a living passenger, a dog named Laika. Although Laika died within a few orbits, D'Antonio explained, she proved humans could survive being launched into space.Americans also used animals to investigate the biological effects of space travel. D'Antonio shared the story of Gordo, the first monkey successfully launched into space by the U.S., as well as how black bears were utilized f ... More

America's Economic Crisis

Wednesday January 2, 2008

In a 4-hour special on America's economic problems, Rollye James spoke separately with four financial experts. First up was author and radio host Andre Eggelletion who discussed problems with the Federal Reserve and its historical background. The Fed has lost some of its ability to control the money supply, and Alan Greenspan (former Chairman of the Reserve Board) left a record foreign deficit, he noted. The eroding dollar may only be around for another four years, before it's replaced by another currency, said Eggelletion, who added that the value of homes will continue to fall for another 3 to 4 years. Financial analyst Mish Shedlock said the US will be faced with deflation-- a cycle where credit and money are shrunk back. Japan, he noted, had deflation for 18 years, in which land prices fell for 18 consecutive years. The signs include rising credit card defaults, as well as a cascade of companies unable to pay each other. The global imbalances are stunning, Shedlock declare ... More
