Mark Hindell is also the director of the Antarctic Wildlife Research Unit in the School of Zoology at the University of Tasmania in Australia. His primary research interests are in the biology of marine mammals and seabirds, particularly with respect to Antarctic and sub-antarctic ecosystems. This research encompasses a variety of disciplines including energetics and metabolism, population dynamics and socio-ecology. He is currently running several major programs including foraging ecology of Antarctic seals, biology of sub-antarctic seabirds (primarily penguins).

Chris Fleming shared his paranormal experiences growing up as a "sensitive," and also talked about the ghost investigations he's conducted asone of the hosts of the cable TV series Dead Famous. As a child between the ages of 5-10, he reported having many sightings and encounters, seeing shadowy figures and entities that would float across the room. In one incident, an entity cast its own shadow; in another, he saw a figure recognize its own reflection in the mirror. Fleming said that a number of his experiences were validated by other witnesses, yet it became clear that he had a special gift for being able to see apparitions. He identified three different types of spirits—green/blue which are neutral, dark entities or Shadow People which are very negative, and vaporous apparitions which have the ability to shape-shift.
