Economy & Permaculture |
|
| Thursday October 16, 2008 |
Investment advisor Catherine Austin Fitts offered analysis of the current financial situation. She was joined by community/permaculture activists Albert Bates (third hour) and Debbie Landers (briefly, fourth hour) to discuss sustainable businesses, and ways communities can work together to get through the coming economic storm. Bates defined permaculture as "productive systems that mimic the stability, diversity and resilience of natural ecosystems." The movement initially started with agriculture and then spread into such areas as solar building design, landscaping, and social and economic structures, he detailed. "Permaculture is one of the most hopeful and important things" happening at a grassroots level, said Fitts, who advocated the decentralization of the financial system. We've got to stop sending our money to Wall St. and bring it back to our local communities, she added.

Water, Vaccines & Pharmaceuticals |
|
| Tuesday March 11, 2008 |
Dr. Len Horowitz spoke about vaccine toxicity, the pharmaceutical industry, and bioterrorism, and also touched on the healing properties of water. The "American medical cult-ure" has created an "Rx-Generation" where it's considered normal to take a pill for every ill, and then more medications to treat the side effects brought on the first prescriptions, he commented.

Bacterial Threats |
|
| Wednesday February 1, 2006 |
2nd hour guest, NYU Medical Center's Dr. Phillip Tierno, the author of The Secret Life of Germs, discussed recent outbreaks of drug resistant bacteria. Specifically, he addressed "community acquired" MRSA—staph infections that begin with a slight reddening of the skin, but can quickly escalate into pain, fever and a serious health risk. Citing the overuse of antibiotics as leading to this situation, Tierno recommended that people practice good hygiene such as using antibacterial soap on any cuts before covering them with a bandage, and being vigilant about seeing a doctor if they suspect they have the infection.Offering a different perspective on the MRSA threat, was Dr. Len Horowitz who appeared during the last two hours. He commented that Tierno's fearful message does a disservice to the public and that pharmaceutical companies conspire to mount fright campaigns in order to boost sales of their products. Horowitz believes consumers can fend off many illnesses by keeping

Alternative Health |
|
| Wednesday July 27, 2005 |
Consumer health advocate Dr. Leonard Horowitz returned to discuss problems in the health field, as well as dramatic new treatment products. A "global elite," he believes, is working towards reducing the population by using "non lethal warfare," that kills people slowly. By enchaining huge numbers of sick people into "long term pharmaceutical slavery," they can profit off a population that is gradually being weaned down, he explained. But Horowitz said there are five practical steps that people can do to protect or regain their health. The first is to detoxify, and one of the best ways to do this is through fasting, he said, adding that the Stanley Burroughs method (The Master Cleanser) is one that he recommends. The other steps include deacidification, boosting immunity, oxygenation, and bioenergetic therapies. He also expressed excitement over a variety of new products and technologies that can enhance health. These include an ointment called Tetrasil that he said "electrocu

DNA, Genetics, & Healing |
|
| Wednesday August 25, 2004 |
Public health authority, Dr. Leonard Horowitz (tetrahedron.org) returned to the show to discuss his forthcoming book DNA: Pirates of the Sacred Spiral. The standard definition of DNA as coded amino acid sequences accounts for just 4% of its function, he declared, explaining that "93% [of the function] is as an electromagnetic bioacoustic receiver/transmitter of the creator's love." Looking at DNA from this frequency perspective, Horowitz said that people often feel better after sleeping, because they have access to receiving frequency vibrations in the sleep state. When these frequencies are blocked, "that's when illness comes in," he noted. Certain "sacred" tones are associated with healing, he detailed and towards that end he has developed a Healing Tones CD. Horowitz suggested that the Human Genome Project has been "stolen" by privatized interests, and as a result of this, all patterns of gene sequences have been going to Rockefeller University and their associated programs.

In Search of the Soul |
|
| Thursday December 4, 2003 |
Author Howard Bloom (website), returned to C2C as the main guest on Thursday night, discussing the nature of the soul, and the intersection of science and religion. The word soul has 23 definitions in the Oxford English Dictionary, Bloom reported, and he related the importance of the soul to one's passions (like in "soul music") which can be imprinted at an early age. While Bloom defined himself as an atheist or a "pantheist," he recounted an out-of-body experience he had, where his consciousness floated up to the ceiling as he was dancing in front of a group of 350 people. He conceptualized this transcendant experience as possibly connected to an unusual outflow of energy, rather than being a religious incident per se. By way of explanation, he cited the work of scientist Michael Persinger who concludes there is a neuropsychological basis for the belief in God. His experiments have shown that when a certain area of the brain is stimulated, people were induced into having rel

Tough Medicine |
|
| Friday March 7, 2003 |
"You've got to be brain dead to take a 1955 smallpox vaccine," that's been diluted five times, and contains a "virtual witches brew" of ingredients, said Dr. Leonard Horowitz, (healingcelebrations) an outspoken authority on medical issues, who appeared on the first half of Friday's show. Horowitz also commented on MRSA, the "superbug" that's recently been in the news. "The bug is nothing, the terrain is everything," he said, suggesting that those at greater risk would be people with compromised immune systems. Further he believes that such superbugs are more likely to be created in military laboratories rather than arising from the overuse of antibiotics. According to Horowitz, the pharmaceutical industry does not have people's best interests at heart. He damningly claimed that their agenda is to "depopulate at least half the world—and what better way to do it than expensively and slowly, with chronic illnesses whereby populations are sickened and enslaved to pharmaceuticals?"
