'Disappearance' Stories

During Open Lines, George offered a special 'disappearance' line for callers who have seen things that have later vanished. Kristine in Cleveland recalled a haunted tour through Mansfield's Reformatory, where she thought she saw an "actor in a black cape" disappear into a cell in the solitary confinement area. Kristine believes the figure may have been the spirit of a murdered guard.Haley from Hawaii said she worked at a haunted camp on the island of O'ahu. She claims to have seen a little boy who vanished when she tried to speak with him. She said another group at the same camp spent the night in a house "crowded with ghosts."
