Mark Lerner

Biography:

Mark Lerner graduated from Michigan State University with High Honors and a B.A. in Social Science. In 1972 he completed an intensive one-year training course in professional astrology and began his career. Hearing how they summoned other dimensions to grow thriving gardens in the barren soils of Northern Scotland, Mark joined the Findhorn Community in 1976.

Settling back in the USA in 1980, he eventually published Welcome to Planet Earth (WTPE) journal which reached thousands of astrological students and professionals around the world, and it became well-respected as one of the top periodicals concerning Mundane Astrology (focusing on the higher destiny of nations, humanity and Spaceship Earth). The first WTPE astrological web site was launched in the mid-1990s and the new Earth Aquarius News web site represents a great ideal and dream of merging astrological wisdom with late-breaking reporting in an online newspaper format.

	2008 Presidential Election

Professional astrologer Mark Lerner discussed the 2008 Presidential Election and broke down the birth charts of the four main players: presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain, and vice-presidential candidates Joe Biden and Sarah Palin.According to Lerner, Obama and Biden have "geometric compatibility." This will help Obama pick up on Biden's astrological energies, though a Sun-Mars square may cause some difficulty between the two men, he explained. Lerner called McCain's choice of Palin as a running mate an astrological "grand slam." Palin brings Jupiterian influence to McCain, he said, noting Jupiter as "a planet of success." During Full Moon Open Lines, George offered a 'Monster Moment' hotline. A special forces operator named Larry described his experiences in Afghanistan as well as a strange 30-minute firefight he had while serving there. After his patrol was hit by a RPG in Panjsher Valley, Larry said he could see shadow people on the enemy lines. Larry believes they may have been spirits of the fallen enemies he was fighting. Bill, a former soldier living in Las Vegas, recounted his terrifying confrontation with a 7-ft tall creature with giant bat-shaped wings and a human torso and legs. Bill said the monster looked like the thing from the movie Jeepers Creepers. Kristi in Kentucky shared her 1998 encounter with a faceless, dark entity that she saw hovering above her bed one night. Astrologist Mark Lerner shared his insights into how cosmic forces can affect world events and personal paths. He warned of a "Mars Red Alert," in which Mars stations (or stops) from the Earth's point of view on October 1 and December 9. This could have adverse effects on the New York Stock Exchange causing prices to plummet or become more volatile during those time frames, he said.He also revealed information about Edgar Cayce's readings on astrology, which were documented in the book Story of Jesus. Cayce's trance information suggested that between lifetimes a person went on "planetary sojourns" in our solar system, and these experiences influenced their astrological assignations in their next lifetime. Lerner also discussed the asteroid-sized object Chiron which he believes represents "maverick energy" and the concept of "throwing people out of their natural rhythms."
