Host: George NooryGlobal Warming & Ice Melt Down
In the first half of Friday's program, reporter and editor of Earthfiles.com, Linda Moulton Howe discussed global warming and the world's melting glaciers, as well as conversed with listeners on a variety of other topics.According to Linda's report, 2005 was the hottest year in modern human history. By the end of the century temperatures could be higher by 3 to 10 degrees F, she said. The increasing temperatures and record levels of CO2 are contributing to a faster than predicted ice meltdown, Linda explained, which is causing sea levels to rise. As evidence, Linda shared her interview with Dr. Jason Box, who said Greenland is contributing significantly to higher sea levels and should temperatures increase further, the melting of Greenland's glaciers could be irreversible.Linda also provided information about new satellite data that shows Antarctic ice is melting at the rate of 36 cubic miles a year. Particularly troublesome, Linda noted in her presentation, is that ice ... More »
Host: George NooryNoah's Ark & Mount Ararat
The first half of the show featured a discussion about possible locations for Noah's Ark on Mount Ararat. Pictured (click on image for larger) is the digital photo of what has become known as the "Ararat Anomaly." Taken by DigitalGlobe's QuickBird satellite, the photo was analyzed by first hour guest Porcher Taylor who noted the striking nautical form. The length of the anomaly is 1,015 feet which he said corresponds with the dimensions cited in Genesis, and radar confirms that it's not a shadow effect. In the second hour, Richard Rives of the Wyatt Museum suggested that the size of the anomalous boat-shaped form did not match the measurements as specified in the Bible. He believes that a more likely candidate for Noah's Ark is in a different location of Mount Ararat. He and the late Ron Wyatt visited the site in 1990 and retrieved various types of physical evidence. Rives also spoke about their search for the Ark of the Covenant at a location where further excavations are ... More »
Host: George NooryClimate Change
During the first half of Friday's program, Art Bell talked with Dr. Roy Spencer (ecoenquirer.com - environmental satire/fake news) about climate change and Jim Hansen, the climate scientist who claims to have been censored by NASA because of his views on global warming. Spencer, who has worked with NASA for the last 20 years, disagreed with Hansen's hypothesis that mankind is mostly responsible for global climate change, though he suggested that man's activity could account for as much as half. The rest can be explained by natural cycles, Spencer said.He pointed out that natural circulation shifts are probably to blame for the melting of the North Polar ice caps. Spencer also commented on last year's record-breaking hurricane season, which was likely the result of "rapid deepening cycles" rather than anything man has done to the climate, he remarked. Spencer expressed skepticism about what we could know about past climates by studying ice core samples, and said 'feedbacks' have ... More »

Host: George NooryThe Coming Gas Crisis
Art Bell led off a night of special Open Lines by reading from an article titled The Long Emergency in which James Howard Kunstler ponders America's problematic fate when it runs out of its cheap gas supply. Art then posed a number of questions for callers to consider, which included: Do you believe the oil crisis is real or a conspiracy? At what pump price would your current lifestyle be unsustainable? Would you steal or kill to feed your family?Callers were split on whether the oil crisis is genuine or contrived. People said would they would start to be aversely affected when gas prices reached $4 a gallon, on the average. And most callers asserted that if society broke down into a Mad Max scenario, they would be willing to steal or kill for the survival of their families. Stephanie, an organic farmer from Southern California, detailed that the majority of foods are produced using petroleum and that the average item travels 1,400 miles before arriving at a store. Host: George NooryPhiladelphia Experiment & Montauk
In the middle two hours of the show Al Bielek revisited his claim that he participated in the Philadelphia Experiment aboard the USS Eldridge in 1943 as a man named Edward Cameron. The experiment to make the ship invisible misfired, he explained, because the donut-shaped electrical field that was generated had a hole in it. Exactly forty years later, an experiment was being conducted at a secret government facility in Montauk, NY using alien technology to cause a rift in the time field, Bielek continued. It was through this rift that he said he traveled from the Eldridge to Montauk and back again. In the 1950's, he said the government shrunk Cameron down to the size of an infant (because he knew too much) and he was given to the Bielek family.Bielek stated that while at Montauk he traveled via a wormhole to Mars which he described as having numerous underground cities and huge military operations. Host: George NooryLa Palma & Titan
In the first hour, reporter and editor for Earthfiles.com, Linda Moulton Howe, provided an update on the "mega-tsunami" potential of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island of La Palma.According to geologist Dr. Simon Day, "it's almost certain" the 4-mile high Cumbre Vieja volcano will erupt this century, though no one knows how many eruptions will occur before it collapses into the ocean, triggering a "mega-tsunami" (see La Palma Simulation article below). The La Palma collapse could produce waves as high as a 15-story building that would reach North and South America within 8 to 11 hours, Day said. Read Linda's full report at Earthfiles.com.Linda also reported on the latest data from the Huygens probe that shows evidence for weather on Titan. She said it rains methane on Titan, but the rain there does not require the formation of clouds like on Earth. Linda suggested the methane on Titan could provide the precursors to life. Astronomer Dr. Lyn Doose described Titan as ... More »
Host: George NooryProbing Titan's Mysteries
During the first hour, planetary scientist David Grinspoon discussed the Huygens probe landing on Saturn's moon, Titan. He thinks the fact that the probe survived its descent may indicate the landing surface was liquid or icy slush. According to Grinspoon, "Titan is an active world" where it rains methane and, as recent photos show (see Huygens probe article below), liquid flows through drainage channels. He theorized that if Titan were warmed, it could prove to be an "incubator for life."In hour two of the program, George welcomed Richard C. Hoagland of Enterprise Mission, who admitted Titan "does not belong in the Saturn system." Because of its unique nature and the presence of "organic gunk" in its atmosphere and on its surface, Hoagland hypothesized that Titan was terraformed by an advanced alien race. He believes Titan may provide further evidence that somebody "tinkered" with our solar system.George hosted Open Lines for the last two hours of Friday night' ... More »

She said God charged the archangels with punishing the "sons of God," and ultimately sent a great flood to destroy the nephilim. Noah, who was spared during the flood, may have been of angelic or extra-terrestrial origin, Guiley suggested.Guiley believes everyone has a guardian angel, and said there could be a "host of angels around us" in human form. Another caller, said the spirit of one of the Roswell aliens was born into her infant body in 1947. The Roswell mission, she revealed, was piloted by a consortium of aliens seeking to intervene with atomic testing. ... More »

During Friday night's Open Lines callers shared their favorite sci-fi TV shows with George and recounted their own sci-fi/horror stories...Seamus called and reported that he had once filled in for Morgus (see article below) in a parade in New Orleans. He also told George that he had recently seen shadow insects in his office. According to Seamus, the creatures were three times larger than regular ants and moved in a circle on his desk. After a short time, they mysteriously vanished.Another caller related a "monster" story told to him by an acquaintance. Apparently, a group of four guys (including the acquaintance) were dragging a net in a Louisiana swamp and caught something so strong it overpowered all four men and ripped through the net. They watched as the creature swam to shore, ran across the ground and climbed a tree. One of the more intrepid fisherman climbed the tree after it at which time the thing immediately flew away. ... He admitted that while he isn't affected by sickness or disease, he can be fatally wounded.Another caller identifying himself as Usul told George his race has "no sense of time and space" and walks among us in great numbers disguised as ordinary human beings. Usul believes he saw his birth mother pregnant with the physical form he now inhabits. Later in the show, a caller said he had been shot in the chest and pronounced dead by paramedics. Much to everyone's surprise, however, he got up as if nothing had happened to him. He claims to have photographic proof of the incident.A caller to the Wild Card Line believes he saw an Old Hag in Jacksonville, FL. Host: George NooryKevin Mitnick Update
The first two hours of Friday's show featured reformed hacker and computer security expert Kevin Mitnick. He fielded calls from listeners and discussed this week's distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, which temporarily interrupted service to several popular web sites including Apple, Google, Microsoft and Yahoo. He also mentioned the new cell phone virus Cabir, and related a story about hackers he knew who were able to steal address book and other data from a certain manufacturer's cell phone.Mitnick is currently working on a new book tentatively titled The Art of Intrusion, which will reveal true, untold stories of successful hackers. One story being considered for inclusion is about two hackers who reverse engineered a video poker machine and wrote a program that could predict the exact moment a royal flush was due to hit. According to Mitnick, they took Vegas for several hundred thousand dollars. If you're a current or former hacker and want to help with this book, send ... More »
Host: George NooryDan Burisch Update
During the first two hours of Friday's show, reporter and editor Linda Moulton Howe of Earthfiles.com gave an update on the Dan Burisch case.Dan Burisch claims to have received telepathic messages from a time traveling extraterrestrial called J-Rod. According to Burisch, the J-Rods have serious medical problems that will cause their eventual extinction and have journeyed back to Earth to fix a "time problem" in our present, the J-Rods distant past. Burisch says he and a team of scientists worked to develop a cure for the J-Rods, and to help them prevent their catastrophic future.Provoked by his interactions with the J-Rod, Burisch began looking for evidence of panspermia, a theory that life was seeded on Earth. His research led him to develop the Lotus Model, which hypothesizes that silicon dioxide crystals act as antennas for "Ganesh particles." Burisch believes these particles travel in light and "can motivate the production of life from pre-existing proteins." The implicatio ... More »
Host: George NooryUFO Reports
UFO investigator Peter Davenport of the National UFO Reporting Center presented new cases and was joined by UFO witness John Baker, whose story was revealed for the first time during Friday night's show.Back in the summer of 1966, Baker worked as a systems analyst at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. One night, an outer zone security violation was triggered followed very shortly by an inner zone security violation. An immediate investigation found a 30-ft luminous object hovering over one of the ICBM silos located on the base. The UFO could be seen on radar, but not visibly. Baker was "told not to speak about it," though he feels safe talking about it nearly 40 years later. He believes the occupants of the UFO were sending a message that they could render our nuclear missiles inoperable at anytime.Later, Davenport discussed other "significantly different" UFO cases. He says many of the reports he receives now involve clusters of objects, rather than a single UFO. He cit ... More »
Host: George NooryAlien Abduction Update
Prof. David M. Jacobs gave an update on alien abduction and ufology during the first half of the program. Calling UFOs virtual "abduction machines," he said that the aliens' global program has grown exponentially since it began sometime in the late 19th century. Based on witness testimony, often gleaned through hypnosis, Jacobs believes the purpose of the abductions has been to create a race of hybrids. "We're looking at an integration program," in which the hybrids will be placed into our society serving as "surrogates" for the aliens, he postulated. Jacobs, who said his next book will be on the methodology of UFO investigation, discussed some of the difficulties involved with hypnotic testimony. He said a skilled hypnotist must be able to sort out "the signal from the noise" and recognize confabulation, as well as avoid making testimony conform to any specific agenda. Interestingly, Jacobs suggested that the US government is not paying attention to the abduction phenomenon beca ... More »
Host: George NooryThe End of the World
In a night of Open Lines, Art invited callers to share their thoughts on how the world would come to an end. One repeated assertion was that it would be "by man's hand," either through nuclear exchanges or biowarfare. A female caller referenced the T.S. Eliot line "not a bang, but a whimper," in her prediction that the male Y chromosome would die out, and then the surviving women would kill each other off in two generations "out of boredom." Another caller foresaw a "series of jabs," that would include famine, extreme weather, earthquakes and plagues followed by a pole shift that would "kill everyone that wasn't already dead." ... More »
Host: Art BellThat's So Strange...
Friday's "Strange Happenings" Hotline started with a bang when the first caller told George about a 4-foot black snake that fell out of a clear sky and onto the hood of his car. Another caller described an alien abduction event that occurred while he was visiting Mexico in 1992. Even stranger, years later his daughter and her best friend were abducted by aliens. Also calling in, Heather (13) from Missouri said during every full moon she dreams about turning into a wolf and running in a an open field. Often she awakens from these dreams covered in dirt with leaves in her hair.Later, a "serpent man" and former member of Adders of the Eastern Gate related a story about attending a party when he was a boy where the children played with a Ouija board and held a séance. That night, while everyone was sleeping, the birthday girl began screaming. Police found her locked in an unnaturally cold bedroom and, upon entering the room, saw she was covered in blood. Here are the steps:6 + 6 + 6 = 181 + 8 = 9Nancy from Nevada told George that for the last several years, and on a nearly daily basis, whenever she looks at a clock it's always 11:11. It's probably time to get a new clock! Continuing the numbers theme, Jennifer from Arkansas recounted the story of her adoption. She said her parents were unable to conceive for 13 years, but after her adoption they gave birth to her younger sister nine months later. Curiously, the sister's birthday (16) can be derived by adding the mother's (13) and father's (3) birthdays together. There was also a "Doom and Gloom" Special Topic line in which George invited people to share how they've overcome various black clouds. One gentleman related how his life was terrible, characterized by the "ups and downs" of dep ... More »
Host: George NooryMars Initiative
Friday's first hour guest, Richard Hoagland of Enterprise Mission, joined us from his homebase in New Mexico to discuss why he thinks the Mars initiative is losing momentum. He suggested that it's not because of lack of enthusiasm from Captitol Hill; rather, it seems to be "great reservations about NASA's ability to carry it out." He continued, "The NASA we currently have is kind of in limbo in terms of can it do the job." As further proof of just how out of touch NASA has become, Hoagland cited NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe's recent idea to kill the extremely successful Hubble Telescope program. Hoagland called for NASA to be reorganized into a much larger agency, and the creation of a cabinet level position called the Department of the Exterior, which could oversee both the technical aspects of space travel and, more importantly, involve the American people in the program. ... Host: George NoorySuperstitions
Charles Reichbloom (website), the author of the Knowledge in a Nutshell® book series, discussed the origins of various superstitions. A number of "bad luck" superstitions such as Friday the 13th and stepping under a ladder, stem from religious connotations, he said. Seeing a black cat cross, got its bad rap, because during the Middle Ages, witches were thought to be able to assume the form of a feline, said Reichbloom, though he noted that to the Egyptians cats were considered lucky. Reichbloom also delved into good luck superstitions. A rabbit's foot is considered lucky because rabbits multiply so rapidly, thus the foot is a token of fertility. The tradition of knocking on wood comes from Indians he said, who would touch trees to ward off bad luck, because trees were struck by lightning and thus connected to the Sky God."We're afraid to defy these superstitions," said Reichbloom, because people would rather not take a chance, and that is why many of these traditions have lasted ... Curiously, after this event Hendry had a number of inexplicable events happen at her home, such as items seemingly being moved on their own. She began to wonder if the spirit haunting the bar, might have followed her home. "You have to be open to it," Hendry said of the ghost experiences. He expressed surprise that NASA was asking for students to send in rocks from around the world for comparison studies, leading him to surmise that they were finding unusual compositions on Mars that had no matches.Hoagland also discussed Pres. Host: George NooryAlien Implant Removal Surgery
"I've got to tell you, this was very fascinating," said George Noory, who earlier in the day had attended an "alien implant" removal operation, that was overseen by Dr. Roger Leir (alienscalpel.com), the guest for the first half of Friday's show. Brenda, the patient who had the implant, told George that over the years she had spotted entities in her bedroom, and had had one particularly haunting encounter with a winged humanoid who floated 5ft. off the ground. Dental X-rays eventually revealed the implant which was embedded in the cheek area under her eye. The operation, of which an audio portion was played on the show, proved to be difficult, Dr. Leir said, as the implant seemed to move every time they attempted to dislodge it. Leir and his associates were aided by the use of a fluoroscan, which allowed them to view the small metallic object during the procedure."Thank God for that," said Brenda after the removal of the foreign object which was found to be 3-4mm in leng ... Host: George NooryEarthquake Prediction
The first half of Friday's program featured geologist and earthquake predictor Jim Berkland (syzygyjob.org) who said we are just about to enter a "seismic window," i.e. a period of greater likelihood for quake activity. Correlated with the start of the new moon, he said a 140 mile range from both San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as the Oregon and Washington coasts would be particularly susceptible. Discussing his study of increased missing animal reports that are made before major quakes, Berkland recommended the book When the Snakes Awake by Helmut Tributsch, that also draws a connection between animal behavior and quake prediction. There is evidence that major solar flares could be another correlate, and Berkland noted some large quakes had occurred within a short space of time after X-class activity on the sun. Eclipses, such as the one next week, are also associated with increased earthquake risk he said. ... More »
Host: George NooryComets & Solar Flares
Much of the current solar activity "is caused by comets approaching the sun," said maverick physicist James McCanney (website) who was the guest for the first half of Friday's show. He believes that an entourage of minor planet-sized objects have been bombarding the sun, and as evidence for this, he has gathered various visual data on this page on his website. Further, he suggested that SOHO astronomers may have been keeping such information under wraps. McCanney said that it would difficult to draw a one-to-one correlation between geologic activity at Yellowstone and the recent outbursts from the sun. But statistically, he pointed out, there is a relationship between volcanism and solar flares. He theorized that there may be numerous "Planet X"-sized objects that make their way into our solar system over millennia as indigenous legends have described, and that our greatest worry may be debris streams that come from these objects during their passing. ... Host: Art BellStrange Universe
"2003 is turning out to be a pivotal year for cosmologists," said investigator Linda Moulton Howe (earthfiles.com) who appeared during the first half of Friday's show. Reporting on data from NASA's microwave probe (WMAP), Linda said that only a small percentage of the universe is composed of matter such as stars, and the rest is made up of "dark energy" and "dark matter, " which could be thought of as transparent. Of visible matter, she said there is a "long green curved wall" that is composed of 252 million light years of galaxies clustered one after another, that curiously appear to be "herded" together by the dark matter. Could our universe, based on the WMAP information, be "akin to a clear Jell-O in which what we consider to be matter (worlds and stars) is simply embedded in this large transparent Jell-O?" she pondered. Host: George NooryNew UFO Cases
Peter Davenport of the National UFO Reporting Center presented new cases and witnesses during the first half of Friday's show. A truck driver named Ken described driving his 18-wheeler directly under a UFO near Council Bluffs, Iowa on 8/19/03. The hovering object contained an array of large disc-like lights on its underside and seemed to be trailing just slightly ahead of his truck, Ken said. Because it was moving at a relatively slow speed "clearly it's not an aerodynamic device," Davenport commented, indicating some other process was keeping the craft in the air. "Susan," a high-school principal, Davenport's second guest, related a dramatic sighting from her bedroom window overlooking Lake Washington that occurred on 9/18/03. Alerted by a swishing sound coming from the southern end of the lake, she witnessed a large soundless orb, "pinkish red in color," that was about 2/3 the size of the moon and moving in a horizontal pattern over the lake. This Friday night, George opened a special topic line for Ghouls and Vampires, which drew some interesting characters out of the woodwork. There was a vampire who said he was on the prowl on the street, but that he sucked energy rather than blood. A bartender from New Orleans told of an eloquent Goth vampire who startled him with his retractable fangs. Other intriguing calls included an artist who said she was "driven by outside forces," to create demonic "death drawings," which depicted such things as human/animal mixtures. In the three times she gave this type of art to other people, they all came to untimely ends shortly after getting her work. At a bonfire with friends in the South Missouri woods, a caller told of capturing a 4-ft. tall gray critter, that seemed more human than animal. It was currently being kept in a cage in the garage and "it loves meat," he said. Another strange creature tale came from a woman in Massachusetts who described seeing a male and female Big ... Host: George NooryEarliest Memories
Due to technical difficulties,Adrian Gilbert (website) was not able to join the program, and will be rescheduled. Instead, George presented a midweek night of Open Lines. A special topic line was set up for people to tell of their earliest memories. Perhaps, the earliest was of a woman who said she recalled a prenatal experience, where she existed as a ball of light that was told to jump down and go through a metamorphosis. Other interesting calls included a man who said he had a "mind control sheath" installed via surgery into his brain when he was six years old, under the guise of a tonsillectomy. And a woman who told the tale of her young grandson who seemed to have distinct memories that only her late husband would of known, lending credence to the idea that he was a product of reincarnation. ... Host: George NoorySpontaneous Human Combustion
Larry E. Arnold, the author of Ablaze!: The Mysterious Fires of Spontaneous Human Combustion was the guest for the first half of Friday's show. Discussing the gruesome but rare phenomenon of people inexplicably burning up while their surroundings remain undamaged, Arnold said he has collected over 400 case studies, going all the way back to the 14th century. ... Host: George NooryGulf War II Mystery Illness
Gulf War Vet advocate Joyce Riley (gulfwarvets.com) appeared in the first half of Friday's show to discuss the mysterious illness affecting the troops in Iraq. She related details in the case of Josh Neusche, a 20-year soldier who died on July 12, 2003 after going on a "hauling" mission at the Baghdad Airport. At first, Riley said that Neusche's parents were told their son had been affected by a toxin, then the explanation was changed to pneumonia. Now with over 50 soldiers falling ill, the Anthrax vaccine is being called the culprit. Riley believes we are not being told the true story, and speculated that the soldiers may have been wearing defective protective suits during a chemical exposure. However, "I think the story is going to be whitewashed and removed from the scene," she said. For more on her investigation, read Riley's press release. ... More »
Host: George NooryNight of Nightmares
George opened a special topic line on Friday night for people to share their nightmares. Nate from Colorado described a waking nightmare when he was visited by an 8 ft. tall shadow being/ET that appeared in front of his bedroom window. So shaken was he by the event, that he said he hadn't slept a wink in the last 72 hours. ... More »
Host: George NooryOut of the Portal
Callers came from across time, space and dimensions on Friday night, when George opened a special topic line for people who entered our world via a portal. One such caller said he hailed from a world in the Orion Belt, where his race existed as non-solid entities akin to steam. He said they traveled to Earth after their planet was destroyed. Another portal traveler claimed to be an historian from the 28th century on an alternate reality Earth that resembled Star Trek's vision of the future. George discussed rodent-like shadow creatures he has recently seen darting across the road, and a number of callers confirmed seeing similar entities. Meanwhile Bob from San Francisco, told an intriguing tale of hearing a voice in his head saying "don't look up," but when he did, he saw a bright lens shaped object that flew over the Bay. "I'm being tested," said a caller from Northern Wisconsin, who went on to describe a paranormal double whammy. First he said was hit by a 2 x 4 thrown by a gho ... More »
Host: George NooryNight Terrors
The latter half of Friday's program was devoted to callers, with a special topic line on "Night Terrors." A number of people reported encounters with "shadow" beings, such as Seamus who saw six creatures together, each the size of a rat. Because they didn't seem to be aware of him, "I don't think they're in our dimension when they come through," he surmised. A 23-year old said he often tried avoiding sleep because his dreams went behind nightmares. He described one episode where a little girl with a British accent told him that his family was dead, as he discovered that blood was dripping on his head. There were also two callers that reported on secretive military recoveries of UFOs, as told to them by ex-Air Force personnel. The first call was about craft being retrieved during the Viet Nam War, the other described a group of agitated belt-wearing aliens who issued horrible unearthly screams, from inside a military facility. ... Host: George NooryThe Captured Alien Line
Friday Night Open Lines was punctuated by a special topic hotline, inviting those who have captured an alien or alien craft to call in. It's 4ft. tall, red, and has black eyes and sharp teeth, a Pennsylvania caller said of the creature he was keeping in a large dog cage. Bob from Georgia revealed he was keeping a small diamond-shaped sphere in his garage. He found the glowing green metallic object in a creek. But the most curious call came from a 37-year old woman who believed aliens were living in her attic and were controlling her father's mind. Not only do they take things from the house, but also leave gifts such as "weird looking stones," she said. In a more ghostly vein, Dave of Salt Lake City, told an uncanny story of coming home and sensing an evil presence. Just then, his friend called and said "you are not alone." Later, Barbara described a bizarre incident, when she witnessed a strange man's voice coming out of her sleeping Mother's mouth. ... More »
Host: George NooryThe SARS Fraud
Investigative writer Jon Rappoport (nomorefakenews) presented some startling claims about SARS in the first half of Friday's show. SARS is a phony epidemic, and the initial reports that the disease is caused by a coronavirus have not been borne out, Rappoport said. These cases are actually misdiagnosed respiratory illnesses such as pneumonia, he added. "Research fraud" is being carried out Rappoport believes, and Canada and China have been singled out to suffer from these acts of "economic terrorism." Canada may have been a target because they didn't support the war in Iraq, he speculated. And Asia may have been chosen to put a dent in their burgeoning economy. Rappoport named The World Health Organization (WHO) as the perpetrators of this fraud. "WHO has catapulted itself through this whole SARS situation into literally being a world power that…can enforce its will by various kinds of threats and measures," he explained. "There is a major lawsuit brewing in Canada," over ... More »
Host: George NooryFriday the 13th Open Lines
Not only was this past Friday night, the 13th day of the month, but it was also nearly a full moon. Accordingly, callers were all over the map with tales of both aliens and ghosts in high schools, 4-ft. dogs, transparent wolves, and a woman having a near death experience as she was giving birth. George also opened a special topic line, for those who had weird experiences, good and bad on Friday the 13th. One woman described her trip from hell, where so many mishaps occurred while attempting to get to her destination, that she now will never leave her house on any Friday the 13th. "I think I may have gone to high school with an alien," said a caller who proceeded to tell a story about a chum named "Matthew" who was never sick one day, yet was strangely reluctant to get a physical. He lived in an underground house with his aunt, and there was a shed on their property that no one was allowed to enter. But the oddest event said the caller, was when he and another friend were staying ... More »
Host: George NooryTime Travelin' with Art
Special guest host Art Bell returned to the Friday program for a night of Open Lines. On his specially designated Time Travel line, a variety of callers presented their forays both into the past and the future. Nunnehi (Cherokee for "The Little People") called from Sacramento, and spoke of previewing her death, along a chain link fence, where she went through a receiving line. Each time she shook a person's hand she would instantly know all about that person. A woman recounted stumbling on some tucked away 8mm films made by her father and felt as though she was transported back to the 1960's. She theorized that a puff of air from that time period may have entered her nostrils when she opened the film box. ... More »
Host: Art BellDemon Possession
Both the demonically possessed and people who have helped to exorcise such demons phoned into the program, when George set up a special topic line this Friday night. "I was cursed by a witch," said Shirley from Phoenix, who said she has undergone around fifty exorcisms to rid her of the numerous demons that have plagued her. A caller named Tony said he had "the gift of discernment" (being able to recognize demonic spirits), and that he had assisted in two official Catholic Church exorcisms. In the most profound case, he said a woman was possessed by over 200 demonic entities, and they focused on making contact with the chief or captain of these demons. . ... More »
Host: George NooryPlanet X Theories
Theoretical physicist James McCanney (website) appeared in the first half of Friday night's show to discuss his ideas about Planet X. While he doesn't subscribe to the notion that a rogue planet is headed this way in the next several weeks, he does believe there is evidence that extra solar objects do pass our way on occasion. McCanney theorizes that comets on elliptical orbits can gain in size as they draw in material with their electrical charge. "Hale Bopp had a nucleus the size of the moon," he said, explaining a scenario whereby comets can turn into virtual planets. McCanney correlated his data with other sources of information such as Hopi Indian prophecy, which refers to dramatic changes associated with the passage of objects (Kachinas) in the sky. According to one interpretation he received, the "Blue Kachina" could be Hale-Bopp (1996) and this was said to be followed by the "Red Kachina" in ten years or 2006, which McCanney surmised could be Planet X. ... Host: George NooryBiting Open Lines
During the second half of Friday's show the lines were snapping when George asked for tales of being bitten by animals or insects. One man reported being attacked by a swarm of yellow jackets as he drove his car at high speed along the highway. Stories about a biting cat, alligator, snake, monkey and bees also came in. Other intriguing calls included a story of a UFO that seemed to respond to the witness, a woman who was chased by a half-man half-goat creature coming out of a "Hell House," and an ex-Satanist who foresaw a great metaphysical battle occurring in the year 2012. ... Host: George NooryThrills and Chills
It was a rollercoaster of chills and thrills on Friday's Open Lines. There was Ricky calling from his haunted mobile home, where a malevolent ghost had made its presence known, harassing his girlfriend. Meanwhile a young man from Sacramento complained of frightening waking dreams with a sinister red portal appearing in his bedroom mirror. Martine of San Francisco, intriguingly proposed her theory that angels actually inhabit dogs' bodies. And several psychic vampires called in on the special topic line, one explaining that "it's a necessity," for him to drain other's energy. Coast virtually turned into Cops, when a police officer named Kevin called in to relate a story of apprehending a hitchhiker who turned out to be bear. But as he was finishing up his tale, he witnessed a man pushing a new gas grill out of a closed home improvement store. He casually called in for back-up in order to arrest the would-be thief, all while giving an on-air commentary. "Ask him if he listens to Coa ... More »
Host: George NooryHere Comes X
Alien contactee Nancy Lieder (zetatalk.com) joined George for the first half of Friday night's show with an update on Planet X, which she believes is drawing ever nearer to the Earth. She reports that X, which she also referred to as a "brown dwarf," can be seen in the night sky as a "red or orange blink—a diffused blotch," but that it's not bright like a star. She has set up a special page for Coast listeners to review the evidence and information she has assembled. Lieder, who transmitted messages from the Zetas (the aliens she claims to be in telepathic communication with) while she was on the air, said that between May 15 and June 1st of this year, Planet X's passage would lead to a week of rotation stoppage of the Earth. This would be followed by a cataclysmic pole shift, which would cause worldwide flooding and earthquakes of a magnitude 9 on the Richter scale. Callers to Nancy and the Zetas, included astronomer Phil Plait, who said her evidence was typical of "noise" tha ... More »
Host: George NooryScary Happenings
Scary Happenings was the theme of Friday night's Open Lines. One caller described the frightening experience of seeing a "pterodactyl" type bird with a 30 ft. wing span fly over his head, north of Boston ten years ago. "It seemed to come from a cloud," he said and its wings made a distinct flapping sound. A police officer also from Massachusetts told an eerie tale of answering a call for a DNR (do not resuscitate) case. The gentleman he spoke with pointed out the dead body, but when the officer returned to assist the paramedics he was shocked to see that the man who he had initially talked with was the dead body. Other creepy calls included the sighting of a werewolf, a tale of a bloody ritual stone, an account of a ghost with a penchant for tossing potted plants and an unexplained missing time case. ... Host: George NooryNight Visitors
Friday night's Open Lines were populated with stories of night visitors. For instance Lisa from Phoenix encountered a Shadow Person who snarled foul words at her in a foreign language (though he graciously vanished after she screamed at him to leave!). A border patrol officer named Charles, told a tale of a "witch" who haunted a New Mexico road that led into Mexico. She was an old woman always seen walking north around 3-4am. Charles doubted the tales until one time he saw her. And just as in the other stories, when he turned around for a second she had completely disappeared when he looked back. George opened a special line for callers who had experienced interventions from Guardian Angels. "I'd like to tell you how an angel helped me to save the lives of ten people in a van," said a caller who recounted a story that involved him tapping the shoulder of a driver who had fallen asleep as he drove along the highway. What was amazing was that the caller was blind and said he was b ... More »
Host: George NooryIraq & Open Lines
Bioterrorism and disaster preparedness expert, Steve Quayle (stevequayle.com), spent the first half of Friday night's show discussing the war. This was followed by Open Lines which included tales from time travelers. It's like a "four-tiered Monopoly board of the Middle East—it seems like there's so many moves and counter moves that finally one wonders what game is being played," Quayle said of the current war situation and the behind the scenes machinations of countries such as China and Russia. "The rhetoric in Russia has been rising dramatically," Quayle said, who reported that they had sent emissaries to Iraq to remove their secret spy files in the advent of Saddam's departure. "North Korea is the glove, and China is the hand in the glove," Quayle added about one of America's other concerns. "Things are profoundly different," in the year 2056 said the first "time traveler" on Friday's Open Lines. He claimed to be able to travel back to our time via a womb-like devic ... More »
Host: George NooryWar & Germs
Friday night was another six-hour marathon Coast to Coast, featuring three different guests plus open lines. Raymond Tanter (website), a scholar of The Washington Institute and member of the Council on Foreign Relations, kicked off the early feed. Tanter speculates that a US victory in Iraq will "send shivers down the spine of other rogue leaders." He believes a subsequent war with Iran may be avoided as "the seeds of democracy spread across the border." Next up was Jay H. Lehr (heartland.org), an environmental science expert who served as the Executive Director of the National Ground Water Association for 25 years. He said that luckily the environmental impact of burning oil wells in Iraq will be minimal due to a "huge inversion of air" in that region that keeps gases from rising. Linda Moulton Howe, Earthfiles investigator, appeared on the first hour of the regular broadcast with a report on SARS Pneumonia. She said that the death count was up to 10 worldwide for the myst ... Host: George NooryTough Medicine
"You've got to be brain dead to take a 1955 smallpox vaccine," that's been diluted five times, and contains a "virtual witches brew" of ingredients, said Dr. Leonard Horowitz, (healingcelebrations) an outspoken authority on medical issues, who appeared on the first half of Friday's show. Horowitz also commented on MRSA, the "superbug" that's recently been in the news. "The bug is nothing, the terrain is everything," he said, suggesting that those at greater risk would be people with compromised immune systems. Further he believes that such superbugs are more likely to be created in military laboratories rather than arising from the overuse of antibiotics. According to Horowitz, the pharmaceutical industry does not have people's best interests at heart. He damningly claimed that their agenda is to "depopulate at least half the world—and what better way to do it than expensively and slowly, with chronic illnesses whereby populations are sickened and enslaved to pharmaceuticals?" ... Host: George NoorySéance Stories
The "Séance Line" was open this Friday night. The high-flying evening included stories of an entity that tossed a woman like a sack of potatoes, a Ouija board that exploded and a fast moving shadow that covered a 3-4 block area. Michael in Atlanta told about a séance on a college campus that went out of control, with an angry entity attacking the participants. At one point Michael shouted "I have friends on the other side," which stopped the assault. In another turbulent encounter, a caller named Anthony described an experience he had as a youngster in Virginia Beach. He and some cohorts snuck into the abandoned house of the "Witch of Pongo," and attempted to contact her via a Ouija board. But instead of spelling out messages the board began to heat up, with the edges of it resembling the red embers of a hot coal. Anthony said he tossed the board like a Frisbee into a tree where it promptly blew up. Kat calling from Everett, Washington told a strange tale of a fast moving shado ... More »
Host: George NooryDid the US Set Oil Fires in Kuwait?
Joyce Riley (gulfwarvets), an activist on behalf of those with Gulf War Illness, presented a shocking indictment of the US government during the first two hours of Friday night's show. She said that five separate Gulf War vets had told her that US troops were responsible for setting the oil well fires in Kuwait and that it was done to "make it look like the Republican Guard had set the fire." Riley speculated that the reason behind it was a kind of PR tactic to convince the American public that Saddam Hussein and his regime were a terrible evil. She presented a transcript of her interview with one of the accusatory vets. "The explosive I used was C4. It's light weight, it's easy to use...I placed the explosive on the wellhead and the incendiaries near by so that… after the wellhead was damaged, that the incendiary could light the crude oil to fire," he told her. Riley, a loyal American, said she hoped that the reports could be proven wrong, but had no reason to think the sol ... More »
Host: George NooryIraq: The Smoking Gun?
Bill Tierney, a former weapons inspector who worked with UNSCOM in Iraq in the late 1990s, was the guest for the first two hours of Friday night's show. He believes that Iraq has nuclear capability and the intention to use such weapons. Further, Tierney claims that he has pinpointed a hidden location in Iraq (map here) where there is a uranium enriching processing facility. "You can't put an underground chamber on the back of a truck," Tierney said, indicating that if an inspection were made in this suggested area, the Iraqis would not be able to haul off the evidence. Tierney's methods of ascertaining this location were rather unconventional. "I would ask God and just get a sense if something was valid or not, and then know if I needed to pursue it," he said. His assessments through prayer were then confirmed to him by a friend's clairvoyant dream, where he was able to find the location on a map. "Everything she said lined up. This place meets the criteria," Tierney said of a pow ... More »
Host: George NooryDoom & Gloom
George rolled into Friday night by creating a special Doom & Gloom line, where callers could share their dark dreams and visions of the future. Daniel from Chico, a self-declared "professional prophet," quickly took up the gauntlet. Explaining the difference between prediction and prophecy (prophecy allows for people to change the future), Daniel told of his strange "Starburst 2020" experience where he was catapulted into a dark city of the future that was without electricity. The world, he said, had undergone nuclear devastation in a number of locations. "I've been seeing things for 40 years," said Rick, an exorcist/evangelist from Orlando. He described recently passing a cemetery by car, where it "looked like cigarette smoke was coming from all the graves. Please tell God to save us," the entities' voices came to him. "I see dead people, angels and people from the 1700's…I've seen things that would make your skin curdle," the evangelist said. "Dig a hole, deep and wide. A ... More »
Host: George NooryGreatest Stories Never Told
"Hit me with your greatest story never told," George said kicking off Friday night Open Lines. Dave got things off to a mysterious start, saying "I'd rather not say where I'm calling from." Explaining he had been a naval officer stationed in the Gulf War, Dave revealed details about a reverse engineered craft that was part of a program called Tacit Blue. The small vehicle was used for reconnaissance and spying he said, and was "ungodly" quiet. "It could fly at an angle of attack I've never seen before," he added. Danny, a paramedic from NY, told a touching tale of a call he made to revive an elderly woman. Her husband told them he thought she was likely suffering from an allergic reaction to eating nuts. When Danny explained what happened to the woman, who had by then recovered at the hospital, she exclaimed "but my husband passed away two years ago!" In a similar vein was a call from a Viet Nam vet, who while serving there was led out of harm's way by a Capt. Jim Graham. It was y ... More »
Host: George NooryVoices of the Night
"This is a defining moment," said Richard Hoagland (enterprisemission.com) kicking off Friday night's program. He was on the air to spearhead support for Project Prometheus, NASA's recently announced nuclear-powered propulsion system which could triple the speed of current space travel. Hoagland suggested listeners email or fax the White House endorsing Prometheus and missions to Mars that could be facilitated by this technology. He believes it is crucial to do this before Pres. Bush's State of the Union address on Tuesday. Click here to send your email. A surprise call from Jessica Hahn got Open Lines cooking in the next hour. "I love your show; every subject is fascinating," she told George. Host: George NooryFull Moon Stories
It was a night of Bigfoot, ghosts, demons, and wolves when George kicked off "Full Moon Stories" this past Friday on Open Lines. The Bigfoot tale came from Lexington, KY and involved a face to face encounter with something that was big, hairy, 7-ft. tall and weighing around 400 lbs. The caller said he pulled out a knife which caught a reflection of light, and it was the light that curiously made the creature cock its head and then run back down the creek bed from whence it came. "I can speak to wolves," said Matt from Los Angeles who proceeded to describe a telepathic communication he had with a huge gray timber wolf at Yellowstone Park. The wolf referred to Matt as his "brother" and suggested a ritual involving "sharing your scent and your name." Matt said when he last returned to the park he ran with a pack of 10 or 12 wolves. However, when George asked him to howl on the air, it must be said he sounded more like a dog than a wolf. A spooky ghost tale involving driving a te ... More »
Host: George NooryNight Terrors and Clones
In the first hour, investigative journalist Linda Moulton Howe presented her second report into the Raelian cloning controversy. She included excerpts from her interview with Clonaid's CEO and analytical chemist, Brigitte Boisselier who continued to insist that they would be providing definitive DNA proof of the cloned child. Linda also probed Clonaid's financial affairs and motivations. Bioethicist Arthur Caplan told Linda that he suspected the Raelians may be using the controversy to bring attention to their cult. A full report of this story is available on Linda's website. "Night Terrors" was the suggested topic during open lines, which provided a chilling mixture of dark tales. The ghostly apparition of a deceased drag queen, a red face that appeared over white snow on a TV screen, and a 7-ft. tall "skinwalker" that charged a group of campers were among the encounters described. George also heard again from the caller he's dubbed the "Silhouette Lady," who described seeing ... More »
Host: George NooryDark Tales and Rael
With a report on the Raelian cloning controversy, Linda Moulton Howe kicked off the first hour. She spoke with both the UFO sect leader Rael, and a Florida lawyer named Bernard Siegel who has a filed a lawsuit against the Raelian-associated company Clonaid. Siegel believes that the act of cloning is a type of child abuse due to possible physical defects that may arise. Rael told Linda he is advising the mother of the child against taking DNA tests (to prove the cloning) because of possible damage and publicity from the lawsuit. "These people don't want to be in a circus exhibition," he said. For Linda's full report click here. George opened up the lines in the next hour with a tale of when he looked death in the face during a car accident in inclement weather. A number of subsequent callers offered their harrowing experiences during close calls.
