Bob Litak

Biography:

Bob Litak was a practicing attorney with a thriving law practice. For purely mercenary reasons, he agreed to play Santa for the Chamber of Commerce in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. For a dozen years the red suit worked its magic on Bob, who now really does believe in Santa Claus.

Joining guest host Chris McGill, author Joan Wester Anderson presented a collection of true stories attesting to angelic intervention in human affairs. She first became interested in this subject when she sent out a prayer for assistance for her son when he was trapped in freezing cold weather while driving home from college. He related to her that a man in a tow truck brought him out of the cold but afterwards he and his truck were suddenly gone. Anderson later realized that the event took place just as she had made her prayer. Angels typically do not have wings or halos but appear as ordinary people, wanting to preserve their anonymity, she reported. They are prevalent in almost all religions and "they belong to everyone." Further, she said that they are not the spirits of deceased people, but rather entities that were created before us who do not have bodies.
