Investigative author and historian Edward Malkowskishared his research into ancient Egypt. He believes that the civilization there may be far older than is commonly thought, and made use of scientific methods. For instance, the work of West and Schoch has shown that the Sphinx is at least 7,000 years old which would place its construction before the time of the Pharaohs. The Sphinx might have been part of a pre-existing culture that dates back thousands of years earlier, and its face may have been changed from an animal to a man during the Pharaoh years, he said.
