As a young adult, Dan worked as a model and actor. He has been arrested countless times all over the world in his efforts to protect the rights of animals and create public awareness. In 2000, he was named by Genre magazine as one of the most influential people of the new century. Dan's book "Committed: A Rabble Rouser's Memoir" is now available.
