Bill Murphy is an independent producer who focuses on researching claims of paranormal phenomenon. His first documentary explored the supernatural events that occurred in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina devastated his hometown of New Orleans. This was followed by a filmed investigation of the Queen Mary docked in Long Beach California which revealed an unusual emotional reaction felt by many visitors to this ocean liner. His latest and most ambitious project so far is The Stanley Effect which was shot in Estes Park, Colorado. This documentary explores the piezoelectric effect of natural crystals on human perceptions.
