Michael E. Salla

Biography:

Dr. Michael Salla is a pioneer in the development of exopolitics. He is the author of several books that include Exopolitics: Political Implications of the Extraterrestrial Presence. Dr. Salla was an Assistant Professor/Researcher in Residence in the School of International Service, American University from 1996-2004. He has a PhD in Government from the University of Queensland, Australia.

He is also the Founder of the Exopolitics Institute, a non-profit organization that analyzes the political implications of the extraterrestrial presence. In addition, he is Convener of the June 2006 Hawaii Conference on World Peace and Extraterrestrial Civilizations that will focus on space weapons issues.

In the second hour, UFO journalist Paola Harris noted the quotes that Rev. Funes made were likely sanctioned by the Vatican, and they may be preparing us for something. Richard C. Hoagland also joined in, speculating that NASA's upcoming press conference may reveal an important astronomical discovery. In the third hour, researcher Dr. Michael Salla suggested the Vatican's comments on alien life were significant, especially following on the heels of a UN meeting on the ET presence in February, which he said called for more openness amongst countries. 	San Augustin UFO Crash

UFO Historian Art Campbell shared details about a UFO crash on the Plains of San Augustin, New Mexico which reportedly occurred the same time as the Roswell Incident in July 1947. Both episodes were likely due to the same air collision, he said, noting that San Augustin is 165 miles west of Roswell. The discoverer of the crashed object in San Augustin was an engineer named Barney Barnett-- while at the site, he ran into an archeological team that later denied they were there, Campbell recounted. Barnett described seeing a disc-shaped craft that was 25-30 ft. in diameter, which was split on the side. Dislodged from the vehicle, were 3-4 bodies. In what was perhaps the first description of the "greys," he described seeing hairless 3½-4 ft. beings in gray jumpsuits with oddly set eyes.
