Biography:

Michael Schmicker is a veteran business and technology writer who began his journalism career as a crime reporter. Michael's interest in investigating the paranormal began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Thailand where he first encountered a non-Western culture and people who readily accept the reality of a world beyond the five senses. It sparked his lifelong curiosity about paranormal phenomena unexplainable by current science.

He is a member of the national Society for Scientific Exploration, and wrote Yahoo Internet Life magazine's guide to the best websites dedicated to Paranormal Phenomena. His first book, Best Evidence, has since become a classic in the parapsychology field. Michael's latest book is called The Gift: ESP: The Extraordinary Experiences of Ordinary People, and was written with his co-author, clinical psychologist Dr. Sally Rhine Feather.
