Janis Sharp is the mother of the UFO researcher, Gary McKinnon, who 'hacked' into NASA networks to expose an ET cover up. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Janis moved to London, with Gary when he was just 6 years old, to continue her career. She is an original and talented musician/songwriter. Her career spanned the eighties and nineties with a measure of success. Janis went on to write and direct an independent film, 'Lunar Girl', which was inspired by one of her compositions. The movie premiered at the National Film Theater in London and was later nationally televised.
In recent years her life and creative aspects have been put on hold while she campaigns tirelessly for the right of her son not to be extradited to America under a one-sided treaty which requires no evidence in order to extradite. Her aim is for her son Gary to be allowed to face a trial in the U.K for his actions, all of which took place in the UK.
